Description

The Non-Dual Practice of Emptiness: Dissolving Narcissism and Embodying Compassion
A Nalanda Institute Daylong Retreat with Dr. Joe Loizzo and Geri Loizzo

This daylong Nalanda Institute retreat eases participants into the practice of emptiness meditation, starting with the preliminaries of refuge and self-other compassion, moving on to the most common frameworks for guiding self-analysis, then exploring the deconstructive and reconstructive modes of wisdom which work together to catalyze mind/body self-transformation.

The morning session explores the practice of emptiness on the exoteric path of non-dual compassion; the afternoon session explores emptiness practice on the esoteric path of bliss-void embodiment. Throughout the day, the instructors share their personal experience of living the path of non-dual openness and embodied warm-heartedness. Together participants explore the timely relevance of this profound practice for adapting the narcissistic culture of our age to the pressing challenges of rising interdependence and inclusiveness.
